Phantom Island is straight out of the year 1974 and all its luscious Chevy Van meets TV show theme song. There's also a dash of concept album on this one.

How long has it been since the last Pulp album? Well, let's see. The 9-11 attacks were only a month old...Friends was still on regular TV...there was no such thing as social media...a long FUCKING time./
