The Rolling Stones: Foreign Tongues (Album of the Week)

Jesus fucking Christ...The Rolling Stones. I was blown away by their 2023 return to form, Hackney Diamonds. Apparently that was a massive tone setter because their latest record, Foreign Tongues, is even better. 

It is shovel to the head stunning to me that these octogenarians are making music like it's 1972.

And it wouldn't be a Stones album with some Mick falsetto...

Folks these are just the first three songs of fourteen complete fucking gems. Get this album in heavy rotation immediately. The Stones still have it. Big Time!

Switchfoot: Forever Now

The new Switchfoot album is called Forever Now and it kicks all kinds of rock and roll ass. It grabs you immediately with the opening track and launches you into bombastic lucidity. Thank God!

Chanel Beads: Your Day Will Come

NYC's Chanel Beads has a most amazing and bold new record out called Your Day Will Come. It's the same title as their first record but has all different tracks.

Las Robertas is back with a wonderful new record called All We Need Is Now. This one sees the Costa Rican outfit taking a deep and exquisite dive into dream pop. It is a most welcome endeavor.

Pearl & The Oysters are a happy and fun pop band. Thank God. Their latest is called Monkey Mind and the French-American duo have really outdone themselves on this one. The psych lounge power is strong on this one.

Alewya is a UK treasure. The West London lass has her first full length record out and it is magnificent. Zero is bloody marvelous, folks. The diversity of style is overwhelming.

Muse: The Wow! Signal (Album of the Week)

Muse is back. And my head is now fully removed from my body, once again, by this ridiculously awesome band from Teignmouth, Devon. The words "POWER" and "GLORY" are at dragon level on The Wow! Signal. The record will hit your heart and soul like the most gentle sledgehammer known to personkind.

Born At Midnite: Eternal BAM Nation

The debut album of Born At Midnite is out now and I'm happy to report that Eternal BAM Nation is a yacht rock album released in 2026. Every track is extremely addictive in their urgency and just downright fun. Dancing will be irresistible!

If there was ever any doubt that Madonna was no longer a total fucking force of nature, one need only look at her over five million views on her video for "I Feel So Free." Her latest is Confessions II, a sequel to her 2005 album Confessions on a Dance Floor. This record is a shovel to the head stunner. 16 songs of pure Madonna.
